Lisa & Danny tied the knot at the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston’s Back Bay this past September. Both their ceremony and reception was held at the iconic Boston hotel. The black-tie wedding was all about elegance! We designed classic and luxurious all-white floral arrangements for the day. From Lisa’s cascading bridal bouquet, to the couple’s grand ceremony florals, which doubled as some of the reception flowers, the night was one to remember!

Lisa requested a cascading bridal bouquet for her big day. A cascading bouquet is a more classic and traditional bouquet style. We designed the bouquet with white dendrobium orchids, roses, and calla lilies. The bouquet paired beautifully with Lisa’s gorgeous wedding gown. Her bridesmaids carried simpler bouquets. Each of the nine bridesmaids carried a small, hand-tied bouquet of white hydrangeas and roses with the stems wrapped in off-white double face satin ribbon.

The men wore simple white sweetheart rose boutonnieres. We designed the groom’s boutonniere to be a bit fancier. Danny’s boutonniere consisted of that white sweetheart rose along with a single dendrobium orchid bloom. For the mothers and grandmothers, we designed both wrist and pin-on corsages with white spray roses.

Other wedding party members included two adorable flower girls, a ring-bearer and even Lisa & Danny’s dog! Did you know the Fairmont Copley Plaza is dog friendly?! The hotel even has a Canine Ambassador, Cori Copley!

The reception in the Grand Ballroom consisted of 20 dinner tables. Half of the tables included low-rise centerpieces and the other half had high-rise. Mixing both style centerpieces makes the space look fuller. The added height makes for a more elegant feel and makes your eyes look up. Looking up is so important in the Grand Ballroom since the ceiling is just that stunning! The low style centerpieces included white hydrangeas and roses while the high style centerpieces included white hydrangeas, roses, dendrobium orchids and oriental lilies.

Lisa & Danny sat together at a sweetheart table at the head of the room. For this table, we created a ‘long & low’ style arrangement with white hydrangeas, roses, calla lilies & dendrobium orchids.
